Bowling League Details
Calderfield Bowling Club are involved in a number of local Merseyside Leagues and encourage all members to participate once they feel confident to take part in formal league games. Each league team has its appointed Captain and members are free to participate in as few or as many league games as they wish.
The Captains are responsible for nominating players for each game, and they endeavour to give everyone a chance to play.
An important requirement for qualifying to play in any league game however is that the member must be formally registered with the BCGBA, which is the governing body for crown green bowling in the UK. Any member may join (for which there is a small one-off fee) and the club actively encourages members to do so.
